He's performed with Phish, Steve Earle, String Cheese Incident and Preservation Hall Jazz Band and his songs have been recorded by everyone from the Lovin' Spoonful to Tom Petty. A gifted singer and guitarist, McCoury has collected two Grammys and nine trophies for entertainer of the year from the International Bluegrass Music Association.
